We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Agriculturist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture, crop management, and sustainable farming practices. As an Agriculturist, you will be responsible for overseeing and improving our agricultural operations, ensuring productivity, and implementing innovative strategies for crop management.
As a Field Officer specializing in bio organic fertilizer, your role will be crucial in overseeing field operations related to the distribution, promotion, and usage of our company's products in Gujarat. You will work closely with farmers, agricultural experts, and distributors to ensure effective utilization and market penetration of our bio organic fertilizers.  

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in agricultural extension services, field sales, or agronomic consulting.
  • Deep understanding of organic farming practices and bio organic fertilizers.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with farmers, distributors, and agricultural experts.
  • Proficiency in Gujarati language is essential; knowledge of other regional languages is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute field operation plans to promote and distribute bio organic fertilizers in Gujarat.
  2. Conduct farmer outreach programs, training sessions, and demonstrations to educate farmers on the benefits and usage of bio organic fertilizers.
  3. Collaborate with distributors, retailers, and agricultural cooperatives to expand the market reach of our products.
  4. Provide personalized agronomic advice and recommendations to farmers based on soil analysis, crop requirements, and local conditions.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the performance of our products in the field, gathering feedback from farmers and stakeholders.
  6. Collect and analyze market intelligence, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  7. Represent the company in agricultural events, exhibitions, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  8. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards in the promotion and distribution of bio organic fertilizers.
